Pulmonary embolism (PE) is a serious potential cause of dyspnea that requires urgent treatment. While not a definitive diagnostic tool for PE, the ECG can reveal characteristic changes that, combined with clinical findings and other diagnostic tests, contribute to a timely and accurate diagnosis.
